By the mid-1990’s IDT's client base included a cluster of hospitality clients. While the needs of these clients were similar to others in the client base, there were many differences that set them apart. To serve the hospitality cluster, IDT refined its data model and expanded its processes to solve one of the most critical information management obstacles facing the industry –creating value out of data locked away in a wider array of fragmented, silo'd, often-legacy operating systems (PMS, POS, F&B, Sales & Catering, Spa, Recreation, Concierge, Gaming) with even more data quality and integrity issues. The team found that assembling the required information in a format capable of driving marketing, sales, CRM and revenue management activities was time-consuming and inefficient at best, impossible at worst. This led to a decision to focus on the hospitality industry where IDT’s technology, service and support could be marshaled to solve these more demanding requirements.

Today, our methodologies combine an extensive library of proprietary and third-party tools and processes – ETL; Web Services and API’s; VB, .NET and SQL Server programs and objects – with a SQL Server and Oracle database backbone.

We strive to provide each client with a customized, end-to-end solution starting with a clear definition of end-user needs and requirements that guides us in the design, development, management, maintenance, service and support of our deliverables.
